Burning Instructions
Trim the wick to ¼ inch each time before lighting and after every 2 hours of burning time.
Warning - Never leave a burning candle unattended. Should the candle form a long wick and a noticeable 'mushroom', please trim the wick immediately to avoid any damage. The 'mushroom' can drop off and cause excessive heat.
Burn candle out of reach of children and pets. Place the candle on a heat-resistant surface away from draughts, sources of heat and anything that can catch fire.
Discontinue use when 1cm of wax remains.
Many of our images show candles outside, but our hand-painted candles do not burn well in a draft. When placed in a draft, the flame will flicker, and the candle is likely to drip and melt down very quickly and may leave a waxy mess.
